Can't quite figure this one out, N.Yorks steel town at confluence of rivers Dee and one that gave its name to the town.  I've got Rotherham as the answer, but it isn't on the Dee (it's on the Don) and it's in South Yorks.  Have I got something wrong or have they?

its got to be ROTHERHAM.  I  found the same mistake

the obvious is sheffield but doesn't fit  rotherham does make steel.

Teabag,

Yes it's Rotherham.  I don't know what the good citizens of the town will think when they read they live in North Yorkshire near the River Dee - and there isn't so much steel activity in the place as there used to be.

It was a rotten clue.
