I just managed to sneak out on time as watching that too but was not as bright as last few nights.but still clearly visible.

Thanks, good view tonight for first half, then into cloud, saw a couple of S/stars or maybe Meteorites as well (S/East Kent)
Very bright sighting tonight. Did you know that the ISS is the third brightest thing in the sky now after the sun, the moon? Venus is now the fourth brightest thing having been upstaged by the ISS.

SUBSIDING METEOR SHOWER: After two days of strong activity, the Perseid meteor shower is finally subsiding. For much of August 12-13, meteor rates exceeded 100 per hour. Now, according to worldwide observers, activity is only half that and continues to drop.
