Can anyone explain why all the post dates (questions and answers) say the same date : 2/06/05 regardless if they were posted today or last week...they all have that date on them...whats up?!

If you scroll down the page and beyond, you'll see loads of  posts that have other dates on them so you've maybe only looked down so far and seen only the one date.

Anyway, I've not seen yir name before so a warm welcome to you.

Thanks Corbyloon! Guess what I have just realized!...I am an American new to this site...and I ahve forgotten your dates are written "day/month/year"...as ours here in the US are written "month/day/year"...My Bad!!! haha

What, you've just realized you're an American? I'm sure that given enough years you'll learn to cope wi the disappointment..........

HAnn521...  A big welcome from me too...this is the real world where ***** and loons abound.  As for your US dates they have confused me many times when I have received mail from there. (I'm used to it now). I'm NZ.   Happy posting.........
PS !  The word where the asterix is was not a swear word and for some reason ABE has deleted it. Dunno....
Was the asterisked word 'sheep'. Sorry artee, but I couldn't resist that!
artee write the word backwards.
Artful that's an insult to me too.....
AH TCL is from peehs country too?..Artful ! nuf neerg neelc 'o tib a ekil I . Lots of snooc and snool on this show eh corbs.
Oooh! artee, have you just insulted me? Exciting stuff this. As I don't know if I should be apologising to you artee; pray dear TCL, why have I insulted you too? You aren't in NZ too, are you? Gosh I do hope an explanation is going to come in the next 5 mins or I am going to sleep very badly wondering what I have written and why I shouldn't have written it. I'm sure you don't want that?......
whoo, don't use the word again artee - honest, as I just posted on your other thread, it's really offensive, no joking. And hi there to you too HAnn521
OK artee sussed it, but only cos I'd already guessed snooc - and there was me thinking you were talking Maori! But still wondering why for corby.... I can be extraordinarily slow at times!
It's the reference to sheep and Aberdonians which is often used in a derogatory manner by other Scots in the same way as we do in Corby when referring to residents of our nearest town, Kettering (after an incident that made the front page of our local paper).

HAnn521 Hello and welcome! Do you or anyone else know why the Americans do their dates like that? Surely day, month then year is more logical?

And Corb just what did happen in Kettering?

graemer a Kettering lad was caught getting "up close and personal" wi a sheep a ffew year ago and ever since, we have used an alliterative two-word phrase (beginning wi "sheep) to describe Kettering folk
So we can see the reasons for the sensitivities that abound around.  Artful didn't u mean that u would sheep very badly?  No not Maori, but would love to be able to . Would ABE be able to see bad words in another language? ( and this does not mean that I want to say bad words).
Very nice, artee. Actually I slept like a log, hope ewe did, too. Word games are ram-pant this morning, well I am trying. TCL, hope you slept well also and all the baa-rking didn't keep you awake. Shall stop now, promise
Did we scare HAnn521away? Hope not. So anyway Corb did the Kettering lad make an honest woman of the sheep?

Come back HAnn521, we've been very naughty hi-jacking your thread. ABers don't always do that, just sometimes.
