LOL, kate I love the idea of having a workout by going down Memory Lane.

Did anyone ever have Spanish Gold, which was strands of coconut covered in sugar and a rather alarming red-orange dye? It was in a red wax paper packet with a picture of a Spanish galleon on it. Black jacks, fruit salads, milky bars....
Spangles...especially the Old English ones. Mmmmmm

Murraymints, it's made my day to know that someone else remembers Spanish Gold! Wonderful stuff
My sister nearly died choking on a spangle....
sherbert [various flavours] blackjacks, bar six, potato puffs, sherbert fountain,
golden wonder crisps, jelly tots, smarties etc.
Our local sweet shop sells Spanish Gold

Last year I was asked to make a penis & testicle shaped birthday cake for a gay male friend. I used the Spanish Gold to represent his ginger pubes.

I apologise for lowering the tone (as always) but it's a true story
I bought some flying saucers the other week from Tesco's (own brand) I do remember them having more sherbet in them.

I used to love funny feet (ice cream) if they still do them I bet they will be called 'funny big toe' (due to the size)
I nearly choked on a boiled sweet[they were huge] whilst riding my scooter]
where are you mrs O ?
