I am seriously considering a move to France and I want to find work there in my field of 20 years experience. I know that private companies such as Vivendi deal with water supply and regulation in France, but my area of work lies, specifically, within pollution monitoring and laboratory analysis of water and soils for pollutants. Which organisations fulfill this role in France and what is the best way to approach them for employment opportunities ? Also, with regards companies such as Vivendi, how do I best approach them for work also ? Do local laboratories, for water testing, exist in France, or are they all centralised ? Anywhere where I can access information, preferably in English, would be very useful to me as I've hit a dead end in my search. Any advice appreciated. Thanks.
