I'm told its an external SCSI dat drive that can be daisy chained. It was used in older RISC computers. It would have a capacity of about 2 GIG.

It is an external SCSI DDS1 DAT helical scan tape drive utilising 4mm 2/4Gb cartridges.

You can still buy the carts for about 3 from media suppliers but a quick check of eBay found a drive plus 15 carts starting at 14.99, no bids, on last day of 7 day listing. But you never know, yours may be just what someone is looking for!
