3 Greenford. It is also the only station to still have a wooden escalator, the only one not changed after the kings cross fire because it is in the open air.

Yes, but there is a mistake in the question - Ongar closed to traffic eighteen years ago! (Unless it was made clear that the quiz included closed stations).
Very true JJ, old clues perhaps.
Oops! Before someone corrects me, Ongar closed seventeen years ago! Oddly, this question comes on the anniversary of closure - 30/9/1994.
