Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Has anyone managed to do the Killer Uncaged Prize Puzzle on page 10 of the magazine issued a few weeks ago?

If so can you tell me if any of the cages are just one square and give me a hint for starting.

yes, I had a go - copied the puzzle first & enlarged it.
To start put cages round the definites - e.g the 4 down in bottom left, the 4 in the middle, the 3's etc. Carry on like this filling in definite cages until you need to make choices - trial 7 error then, but it didn't take long to fill in the whole grid once the cages were in place - I "think" the blue boxes contained 8, 8 & 6 but I can't remember which order they were in.
Ask again if you need more help! You've still got a week left!

Sorry - didn't answer your question - I'm almost certain there were no "1 cage squares".

Thanks roslyn I'll have another go. I'd done quite a few copies the other week but kept getting stuck!
