I have very vague memories of a rather excellent show which went out a few years ago. It was a sort of chat show mixed in with the Arts Review on Newsnight. The other main idea was that two of the guests were from the US and two from the UK. They used to invite witty people on and essentially just chatted about the weeks events in a gently satirical way. I cant remember who the host was - except i dont think he was seen on tv again! So , a sort of friday night show for people who like gentle, witty Radio 4 humour.

Anyone remember this show? I thought it was consistently amusing ( Martin Clunes was able to show his " non-laddish" side and came across as very clued up ).

 Hope someone can help!
