I just saw this looking at Chris's Wallaby post and since I've caught a lot of flack for being a 'disciple' of Firefox thought I'd see who uses what browser and see if it then correlates to which whether nor ot they read the Daily Mail;-)
So what browser do you use, do you know your IQ and what papers do you read?

From http://www.thedailyma...iew&id=4150&Itemid=35 :-

PEOPLE with the browser Internet Explorer were last night told they were using it to 'explore' the 'internet'.

Researchers have found that the average IE user does not know what it is for, with many believing it is either a telephone for talking to the Baby Jesus or some form of microwave oven.

Professor Henry Brubaker, of the Institute for Studies, said: "They will normally sit and stare at it for up to six hours before tentatively putting their hands on the mouse - which they have named - and then gently pressing the top of its head.

"If the cursor is in the right place on the screen this can cause the images to change. This development will send them scurrying into the corner of the room, where they will pick up a James Patterson novel and hurl it at the computer in a bid to make it die.

"It may be another six hours before they summon the courage to return, at which point they then set up their Facebook account."

He added: "Unfortunately thousands of them can't even see the screen because it is smeared with the cheese that they have been trying to ram into it in the hope of making themselves a hot meal that will burn their mouths continually."

Roy Hobbs, an IT consultant, said that many of them will be reading news stories, like this one, about Internet Explorer without realising they are using Internet Explorer, on the internet.

He added: "Of course, they are all still several minutes away from pages like this one actually loading.

"So for all those using Firefox, Chrome and Safari, please amuse yourselves with traditional folk songs and tales of daring while we wait for them to arrive."
that sounds like a load of condescending claptrap
Don't know

Firefox Though I have Chromium (not chrome) and opera installed too

don't read papers.
IE is the default on most PC set ups, so people of a lower IQ are unlikely to ever change it because other than surfing, computers are scary for them.

I'm certain that if Firefox were the default, then its IQ score would drop.

This survey is critically flawed and pointless. Other than prove that people with a low IQ are unlikely to do hard stuff like find an alternate browser website, and then download and install new software. The conclusion that anyone who uses IE is dim is false.
I use FIrefox, am not un intelligent (through my android begs to dIffer!)

Well this has brought out some interesting answers- Avanalarf- that really was amusing.
I use firefox myself most of the time but also have chrome and opera and I don't devotedly read any papers on a daily basis but tend towards The Guardian, sometimes the Telegraph if I do buy one.
Low IQ is bound to be associated with IE because it is the default. Intelligent users who are happy with IE stick with it, but their average IQ score is diluted by those who are less happy but have no idea how to change the situation. Whereas other browsers are used by folk intelligent enough to make a switch if they wish to.

Oh, quickly scanning down before hitting "submit" I see Grommit has said much the same thing.

Firefox at home.

I do not know my IQ but it seems sufficent for me to be able to tie my own shoe laces which is a good start.

I very rarely read newspapers, I prefer to watch the news. I will randomly pick up one of my dads private eyes if he leaves them lying around when I visit.
I've tried Firefox and Chrome..........prefer IE.
Read the dreaded DM of course......
I tried Chrome, but wasn't happy with it, and I seem to remembr on AB years ago, IE wasn't always very good and we were advised to try FF.
i use safari at home - does this mean i am wild and animalistsic ?
