The sitesavers quizzes website says Q 27 should read A step down from number 21.

26 Actually reads Sport loses 14.
So, look at words in Q 14 and add the abbreviation for one of those words into a sport (played with a stick) and you should see an artist

Hope this helps

26 I thought there was a mistake here.Should it not be sport GAINS 14. Maybe I'm on the wrong track but I thought 14 might refer to 14th letter of the alphabet -N.Add N to the game played with a stick. I gave the answer last week.
Quinie - that would work too, in fact now I come to think that's probably how I got the answer, but for speed I looked at my unsubmitted answer sheet and came up with the suggestion above

Just coincidence about the wording of Q14!
Hi,Famous5, what was the question in no14,please?
Also could you tell me the clue to
no21?
Here they are

14 - North, ends the vegetable

21 - He was strictly dancing not reporting
Thank you for the info,Famous5
Me again.Do you know the answer to no21,please.Was it also an artist's surname?
Quinie - certainly was an artist, who shared his name with the political correspondent who was such a bad dancer, except the artist had a middle name too.

Hoepe this helps
Thank you,Famous5. Got the answer to no21 so no27 is another name for a policeman. Clever clues!
