grams to ounces

I normally just guess but I need to convert grams to ounces for a recipe that I dont want to get wrong. Does anyone know of a website for idiots that will do it for me.Many Thanks

There are 28g in an ounce I think

I remember that there are 16 ounces in a pound and 2.204 lbs in a kilogram (1000g)
So 35.264 ounces = 1000g
So one ounce = 1000/35.264g= 28.4g (to one decimal place)

I'll go with the others then- 28.3 to one decimal place. I guess 28 is good enough for making a cake but maybe not for valuing gold or class A drugs
