Can anyone list some recent films where the 'badguys' have won, or come out on top. Although we dont regard them as bad, the oceans 11 technically 'won'. The only other one i can think of coming close is the italian job, although they didnt get away. Help!!

The problem is defining who qualifies as a bad guy. Robin Hood is an outlaw, but in almost all his films he beats the law. In Young Guns, Billy the Kid is an outlaw, but gets succeeds in getting his revenge on the Sheriff. Taken to extremes, in Star Wars, Luke & Leia are rebels even if they're normally considered goodies. The only "definitely not a very nice guy" who comes out on top in a film I can think of is Lee Marvin in Point Blank, and even then it's not entirely clear if he wins.
John Travolta's character in 'Swordfish' is comprehensively bad, and he wins. Nuff said.
Arlington Road is a good example, where the bad guy plants the bomb on the good guy, who then (without knowing) blows up the FBI HQ, and kills himself in the process. The blame lies with him for planting the bomb, and because he died, he can't defend himself.
How about a certain Keyser Soser (I may have spelt that wrong) at the end of The Usual Suspects? Palpatine/Sidious at the end of Attack of the Clones?
well you have to ask yourself do you consider killing to be a crime or an immoral act as most hollywood films finish with a murder
Have you seen "Fallen" with Denzel Washington? The bad guy in that definitely comes out smiling
Rocky - Apollo Creed retains his World Title at the end. However Rocky is the plucky challenger who goes the distance. It is also debatable whether Apollo is a bad guy at all. He is the arrogant champ but he gives an unknown a shot at the title.
Does "Butch Cassidy and The Sundance Kid" count? How about Snake Eyes with Nic Cage? (I can't remember how that ended)
Skynet succeeded in blowing up the world at the end of Terminator 3, so I suppose the "bad guys" won that one...
The 70's Bodysnatchers are invaders from another world, so are certianly bad. And they win in the end.

have you seen saw ? certainly looks like the bad guy wins to me
