25a Charles embraced by two fathers in Hare and Hounds(5,5) is apparently Paper Chase but why

I know now that Hare and Hounds is a game involving a paper chase.
I assume Charles is CH or C

In PAper, I can see one father i.e. pa

This leaves the letters perase, perhaps

Please explain how two fathers comes into it
