Finally struggled to the end with help of AB and much white out fluid, but needing to confirm the following so I can post to UK. Some of these may have been partly dealt with already...

1 DOWN - should this be entered as '2K' (reverse of K2 mountain) or as KK?
24 DOWN - SOIND?
38 ACROSS - GAM? (means 'thigh' but 'coarse'?)

8 ACROSS - is a Forward Slash to be entered as the replacement symbol?
Just 31 ACROSS highlighted?

GRID E
Just the setter's initials to be highlighted?

A worthy challenge for the 2000th Speccie!

K Reverse of mountain and "relevant to the entire puzzle"
24dn POIND Atlantic = pond as in across the
38 Ac = Ham Given as coarse in Chambers (as in acting)
