Frankie Boyle is hilarious. Prove me wrong.

There has been a lot of guff spewed in recent days on the subject of Frankie Boyle and how he is unfunny and racist. I'm not saying that Tramadol Nights was funny, it wasn't great. However, on Mock The Week and in his stand up routines he is hilarious. Also I don't see how using the packing and niggling words a couple of times makes you a racist.
Can anyone show me how he is not funny using an example or two, perhaps a clip from youtube. I think you will find it difficult to find something that is not funny. Yes, I know that humour is subjective but I would still like to see what other people find that proves that Frankie is not funny.

A couple of times? You must be joking. His entire content is completely unfunny, his recent "joke" about Jordan's disabled son was disgraceful. He is not witty, he plays on everyone's prejudices and is out to shock. He WAS on Mock the Week, BBC don't want him any more which is why he has moved to C4. He is racist, sexist, disabledist, whatever you want to call it, he'll poke fun at it just to get a reaction.
I suspect that he "left" because he wasn't being allowed full rein on the BBC, the parting comments wishing him well are quite guarded.
You can call it guff, flobadob, but humour is very personal, and I wouldn't allow him airtime, I think he's completely tasteless. If you like him, good luck to you, each to their own!

flobadob. Your question says 'Prove me wrong'. Likewise you can be asked 'Prove you are right'. The whole issue of F Boyle is some like him and some loathe him. We all have opinions and thankfully we can express them. Proving one thing or another is futile; it is merely a choice of preference, similarly in all kinds of 'entertainment'. My personal view is that he often referred to as following in Bernard Manning's footsteps. That could be soon, as Boyle is his own destroyer. Prove me wrong.

How can you label crass abusive material as hilarious? You quote that he used the packing and niggling nomalies just a couple of times; in my view a couple of times too many. You are no doubt aware of sports pundit Ron Atkinson's downfall from television grace; and he allegedly made comments OFF air. And he is not the only one to fall on their own sword in this context. As for ''As expected all guff and no proof so far'' - proof is all around us. Every time the man appears on television there is controversy; and justifiably so. Certainly not an hilarious comedian by any stretch of the imagination - in my book not even a comedian.
Here's an expample of Boyle being incredibly funny - yes its in bad taste but nonetheless it remains extremely funny.
Now, those who don't like Frankie Boyle will not find it funny - that's fine: humour is subjective. There's loads of comedians that I find rubbish BUT it doesn't mean they aren't funny. From the threads I've read about Boyle on AB this concept appears difficult for some to comprehend.
Much like the (very funny) Jonathan Ross and Russell Brand affair, I strongly suspect people are getting upset about Boyle even though they've never actually seen him by being told to be outraged by the likes of The Daily Moan.
He's not a racist - any comments involving racist language is ironic. Think about it: do you really, honestly, think C4 would allow racist material? You'll be saying next that Johnny Speight was a racist.
I saw him at the Hackney Empire a couple of years ago and he was side-splittingly funny - the audience were a group of like-minded people who had paid money to see him, and whilst some of the jokes received an "oooh" from some of the audience most found them consistently hilarious.
On another thread recently there was a long philosophical debate about whether the 'off' button was an adequate self-censorship device and I found the arrogance of some posters ashtonishing who argued that "if you don't like it turn it off" does not go far enough. How dare they have the temerity to tell me what I can and cannot watch, it has got absolutely nothing to do with them watch I choose to watch on the TV and all the time FB is pulling in the ratings and advertisers are prepared to advertise they should mind their own bloody business.
I couldn't stand Last of The Summer Wine - about as amusing as having your ears syringed - so I didn't watch it.
It really is that simple.

People's opinions on FB remain sharply divided, and a matter for the individual.
I looked at the clip you placed, found it utterly without humour, wit, or merit, as i usually find everything i hear from FB's mouth - but he has an audience for what he does.
Personally speaking, i can think of an umbrella label that will show you evidence of Frankie Boyle being unfunny - anything he has ever said - but as advised, that is a matter of perception.
I am not annoyed and outraged that people don't share the same sense of humour as me - why are you?
