Thank you again Mintyman. Very amusing to see the apology for Lavatch's puzzle. I still think it made an interesting challenge. Dumpynose's puzzle was very straightforward once you identified 34/19 Down. However, I remain mystified by the title of the crossword. If anyone can enlighten me without giving anything away, I'd be very grateful.
Thanks as always mintyman.

I too smiled when I read the apology for the Christmas puzzle.

turast I wondered if the title referred to the property purchased by the main character for his beautiful bride?

An enjoyable crossword.

Yes indeed thank you V much MM99.
BTW I'm sure that's right K (with regard the title).
Many thanks for the link. Hope to have a go at this later.
Thank you for the PDF Mintyman and thank you, Kayakamina, for your response to my query about the title of the crossword. I haven't read the books, and couldn't remember much detail from the TV adaptations. Wikipedia provides the answer if you google the title of the works. I can now rid myself of all my imaginings, Nightingale Tor, Thrush Mount, Blackbird How etc.
