Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Is anyone else still having trouble with the new Times crossword page, my answers keep getting erased when i try to save, when I've completed the puzzle I'm told there was an error so the answers as erased and now today I've got a totally jumbled grid with clues going diagonally.
Is it just me?

NO, I've had all sorts of trouble as well. Particularly today. It's annoying not being able to save as one goes along as it jumps out and sometimes as you say it flags an error and then you lose everything. I get the feeling that they've got some kid not left school yet running the web page on a voluntary basis.

When i try to submit i get an error. so much for subscriptions.

It's not just you. I switched from Safari to Firefox for submitting solutions but perhaps too late as the tally shows only one out of nine puzzles submitted as being all-correct .
I had rigorously checked those solutions so presume the screw up came in the posting
to the new-fangled site and all its attendant disasters. Still don't know for sure if switching to Firefox worked.
