Could anyone explain the word play as to why it is "feutre". A feutre is a type of rest but I'm blowed if I can fathom the clue.

old word for companion = fere
as = ut (Latin)

Ulysses - thanks for that. Apologies for it already being answered... I trawled through but obviously missed it. Crikey! Anyone with the knowledge to work that out has my admiration.
