2. Honeysuckle I label incorrectly (6) a?e?i?. I realise it's an anagram but have looked up honeysuckle and can't find the right combination. Abelil or alebil??

I have the same problem. Looks like another of the Times famous goofs, again. ABELIA fits the other clues and is a genus of honeysuckle (Chambers dictionary).

That's right frameshift. I thought about abelia but obviously does not fit. Maybe it is an error? Surely not in the Times!! Thx anyway.
I think I represents one (ie a)
I think this might be ABELIA which is a plant of the Honeysuckle family, but it doesn't fit with the anagram. Do you think it might be a compiler cock-up?
