We have all become used to seeing those sad pictures of soldiers killed in Afghanistan, and their sorrowful return in flag draped coffins, driven through the streets of Wootton Bassett.

Isn't it great now to see these happy pictures of those who have safely returned from the battlefields, and those happy smiling children's faces, welcoming back their brave Fathers for Easter.

Welcome Home to you all, and have a lovely Easter with your partners and children around you, you deserve it.

here here.. great photos :o)
Its is obvious that the US surge has displaced the insurgents into fresh areas where there has been no trouble before. Witness the deaths of those 6 German soldiers a few days ago in an area not considered at risk from enemy action. In fact the Germans only went to Afghanistan to be in the peaceful areas.

In fact it was reported that we are thinking of sending yet even more troops to Afghanistan to cope with this change in strategy. Don't we ever learn?

It is a sad reflection on some ABers that only two could put aside their differences and joined me in welcoming home some of our troops, with wishes for a happy Easter spent with those that love them.

Thank you redman & sara wishing you both a lovely Easter.
