Once agin, finished, but can't see the reasoning of two of the clues. 3d Box in which to make safe? (4) C - S - Looks like CASE, can't see why.
11a Attend but worn-out (4) - E - T Looks like BEAT. I can see the worn-out, but attend meaning BEAT is a bit tenuous. Thanks for help.

Case - double definition.....A Box & 'Case'- look out at burglary
Probable reconnoitre is a better word for 'case' (make safe/sure)

A safe is also a CASHbox; just a thought.
And also could it be cask?
