Another example of feral youths on our streets. What on earth is going through their tiny, violent, minds?

Are people (youths in particular) becoming increasingly violent?

If so, what's the answer?

Four boys aged 17, 15, 15 and 14 have been arrested out of a gang of 20, this obviously isn`t your average attack due to pissed up youngsters coming out of a bar or nightclub, this just reeks of the gang culture hanging around waiting for their next victim

Make it a law that youths hanging around in gangs is illegal, and up the punishment

All this shit about people being seen 300 times a day on cctv is bollocks, if this is the case why are these scumbags still terrorising the streets and in most cases getting away with it
I blame the absent fathers.....a lot of these youths are reared by women and haven't experienced authoratative paternal input.
Surely the blame`s on the mothers then?
Mothers can only do sooo much with children. Sons especially, from 13 on, need paternal support. 13y going thru puberty confusions and gaining strength, place demands that mothers are not best placed to understand nor control.
Elvis68.....now I will be wapped by single mums! Am not demeaning any mother nor the circumstances that leave her to raise children alone. It's just my thoughts & experience. Most mothers do have male siblings or their own fathers who will help but the boy usually will respect his father more.
I suspect that they are BNP supporters and find his kind of behaviour "really creepy".
Or perhaps Mail writers, who object to their 'sleazy lifestyle'?
There are some who will try to make a joke out of such a savage and brutal attack, just so they can somehow get to further discredit their political opponents.

Is it any wonder that the general public are beginning to question, are the BNP as bad as they are made out to be?

Couldn't your libel lefty ways bring you to condem these savages for what they are, just as the rest have done?

Oneeyevic you should be ashamed of yourself.
Oh! I didn't think sp1814 would be far behind, he even blames the Mail.

Pathetic, Pathetic......
i have never been attacked when out with my friends as a male only party

there would be nothing outwardly to show whether we are hetero or homo sexual

my view is that it seems some gays delight in showing off their sexuality for whatever purpose

i dont believe anyone should have 'pride' in their sexuality whether gay or straight - its a private thing and who should be interested?

it doesnt of course excuse violence in any circumstances - violence being the language of the thick

however these cretinous thugs dont need much prompting and actions like a bloke snogging his boyfriend in public or mincing down the road is akin to the old days when you knew you were in trouble if you turned the corner wearing your spurs scarf to be confronted by a group of arsenal supporters

appropriate conduct is required for the circumstances - whether we like it or not
"my view is that it seems some gays delight in showing off their sexuality for whatever purpose"

For God's sake.
Until, like me, you've got into a fight with a group of straights who have been attack a (sole) gay man on a night bus, I'd suggest you may not have a real idea about what it can be like for some gay men out there.

What some people are saying is akin to "Well she askedto be raped and mudered, walking about in a short skin".

Cretins.
^^It seems your user name is well chosen...................
It was the first thing I thought of when I read your ill-thoughtout post.

The area (Stanley Street) is part of the Gay area of Liverpool..........even these cretins could work out likely targets in that area.

Try not to let your own prejudices interfere with a serious topic.
I am in no way condoning these savage attacks or rapes in anyway whatsoever.

But the sad fact is, in today's age of unlawfulness, my advise is not to act in anyway, that may attract these scumish attackers.

Take for instance, how many people have been shot for showing "no respect", just by happening the casual glance in their direction.
Whoops! advice
I'm afraid it is true, you can invite trouble. And some Gays (not all by any measn) do seem to want to flaunt it.

No, not an excuse but think a bit before you take an action and that advice is not limited to gays. I happen to beleive that if you toddle about out of your heaed in provocative dress particular in an area of drunken men you are increasing the likelyhood of attack. another example is dont carry an expensive camera at night in the east end of london (I know someone who did to theri detriment) It is all about common sense, much as we all should be able to just get on with our lives it is not the case. You have to get real.
The problem is your average pinko seems to think that becasue you make a law suddenly everything is fine. This is not the case you have to change peoples prejudices and that takes time and the stick is often not the right way about it.
I must admit that as a youth about 11 years old my associates and I used to run into a certain notorious mens public toilets with a water balloon in each hand, fling them at the assorted effeminate young men who were sitting on the sinks, wearing cravats and flares (it was the 70's), then run for our lives. Ah the kids of today don't know what real fun is......
The advice seems to be, "Wherever possible, hide the fact that you're gay, or accept the possibilty of your own murder."

Any woman can and SHOULD be able to go out dressed as provocatively as she likes without fear of attack. any gay man should be able to leave a gay club without having to sprint to the nearest tube for fear of being killed.

Switch it around for a moment. Say if you had a good-looking male relative who went to play football in the local park. It's boling hot, so he walks home just in his shorts. If he were gang raped by a group of gay men and then killed, would he in any way be partly to blame for 'flaunting his masculinity'?
