I am a NZer and I have never heard of the word in connection with milking sheds.
It could however possibly be so.
What is your clue for this word?
Collins Eng Dictionary gives cowfeteria : cower, cringe, crouch, draw back, fawn, flinch, grovel, quail, shrink, skulk, tremble, ...
Do any of these tie in with your clue?
Cheers
mohill
I have just checked Collins again and although they were talking about cowfeteria they were actually giving definitions for the word cower.
None of my contacts here have heard of the word

Cheers again

Yes. It's an anagram. That's how I got it. I just didn't know what it was. Thanks to all.
