Have just found this quiz. What a shame it's the last one.
Had a quiet night shift last night, and solved all but four
I think the fact there is no clue to the length of the answer has stumped me. Would be grateful for clues for the following -
2 Hit it, but keep on ice. (Ihave an answer, but can't fit in one of the letters)
19 The bird with most mania (as above, doesn't quite fit)
32 Is out of date, note.
36 1 out of 5 join the church.

\Thanks in advance, hope this doesn't spoil the quiz for anyone.

The last one is Quince. I'm puzzled by your not being able to fit in one of the letters when you don't know the length of the answers.
36 Quince.. MND
36 .
May be Quince (quin and C of E)

Thank you for your answers. How dim am I. Need to get to bed.
When I said that I couldn't fit all the letters in, what I was trying to say was, I thought no. 1 was Beatrice, so had the 'hit ' part of the answer and the 'ice' but couldn't place the 'r'. Sorry to mislead you. L
19. Tit(m)ania
Puck
Titania
and 32 wish I knew lol

Many thanks, I was trying Robin Goodfellow for 19, no wonder it didn't feel right. And I thought I knew my Shakespeare.
Thanks again, L.
Beatrice could be OK, but I understand your doubt. r is abbrev for Latin 'recipe' = take, which might be equivalent to keep. Still, if r meant take, it could just as easily have been used in the clue. So perhaps not. Sorry to be so unhelpful !!
Have a good sleep, awake refreshed, and good .luck with the rest of the quiz.

Tommo, thank you.
Goodnight all.
I like Puck better lol
Can't see an answer for 32, so I'll chime in with Isolda (or is it Isolde?)
my thoughts but it isnt shakespeare

I hope this thread is still active.
19. Out of date, note.
Date = month, - note = n gives Moth.
Is this a possible answer? L.
Not one of their usual ways for clues but makes sense so thanks

Smouse,
Getting my quizzes muddled up. I had meant no.32 not 19!
You did respond to the correct question though. Thanks, L.
I know my missing questions off by heart lol - how sad is that
