Is winoldap necessary?

or can I cancel it? I've noticed that it's always running, and I usually try to cut back the programs I've got running in the background.

WINOLDAP stands for "Windows Old Applications" and is used to play .wav, .au, .mid and other file types on your PC (Winamp applications). It is similar to Mediaplayer.
