Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

smartlings level 5: I keep running out of time.

I can do level 5 but I keep running out of time - the last smartling appears with only 5 seconds left to go

the route I took was to use a roofer immediately (before the 1st one falls) then make that smartling a roofer again off the lamp-post or at the bottom. then that one and the next become seekers. at the top the 1st one is a roofer over the gap then a stopper just before the squasher. the 2nd seeker then is a roofer over the gap at the bottom. In between which you need another stopper near the start. then just one basher will let all the smartlings through to the car. but usually I'm not quick enough.

Hi, Level5 needs to be maximised for most points, that means using the bouncer first, them make him a stopper at the base of the post, then quickly make no2 a roofer, when he gets to the bottom make him a roofer again, then a seeker, make no3 a seeker, then back to no2, roofer agin, then stopper, then when no 3 gets to the bottom far side make hima roofer (timing is important, select one as a beater and voila!

Your way or mine, the lest smartling only appears when there are 4 seconds left on the clock! how can you get from the entrance to exit in 4 seconds!
