I think there are others you know.....
F1 drivers are arguably the fittest and most skilful sportsmen in the world. They have to endure multi-G forces sideways upwards and downwards for 2 hours at a time, in all weathers. Jackie Stewart once was ill so much so that he vomited into his helmet at Monaco - and still won.

Look at their neck muscles - these are exceptional people, but maybe like you I do wish they would donate all their income to the Congo.
The Congo problem isn't due to money - it's due to fighting.

How is money going to solve that? He should give it to me.
Gormless ...

... as all that we know about cars is what colour they are ...

... I don't understand how the "upwards and downwards" G forces come into play with a vehicle that only moves in a horizontal plane.

jj there are swoops and dives on F1 circuits. The best is Eau Rouge at Spa in Belgium. TV doesn't do it justice, it is a very steep hill (I won a number of F3 races there). At Interlagos the track after the start falls away downhill and to the left after the start. The driver experiences up to 7g upwards.

I see. Thanks Gormless.

Oh, and ... congratulations. That sounds quite clever, winning those races.

Why is that so funny gibbon-face?

that's odd, Lewis was just telling me today he wished Gormless would donate all his income to the Congo. I told him not to get his hopes up.

I raced F3 around Spa and won once, and I can tell you that when you go down the hill past Casino Square then swoop up to Eau Rouge (means red water) you get a spinal thump of around 7g, the F1 guys get about 14g, upwards.
I went to the French grand prix in Dijon 1n 1979. Most boring thing I have ever seen in my life.

I could not believe grown men could stand there with a stopwatch, pen and clipboard.

They are as sad as trainspotters.
Gormless, stop talking b0ll0x. What year did you 'allegedly' race F3 around Spa?

Do tell.
The reason I ask? Casino Square is Monaco.
I didn't "allegedly" race, I actually raced, and I am not going to tell you when because we are not supposed to give away personal details on here, and also because there are some right nutters on here.
Full of sh!te.

I suppose you went round in your 'Exige' haha.
Well that shows how much you know about it. Go and do some reading.
Or did you get the lap record on your badly painted Trek mountain bike?

Hmmm. As I said. Full of sh!te.
