Has anybody used multipurpose compost for a second season? Presumably I could add a general fertiliser and continue for another season. I am looking at growing potatoes and beans in tubs. I have no room in my smal garden.Any suggestions?

you could use it again but depending on what was in it before there could be a risk of disease in the compost and potatoes could be at risk from blight or mildew.

I would use it again for ornamentals but would always get fresh for vegetables especially spuds.
I know it isn't recommended but I have used it successfully for potatoes in tubs though agree with Hawkwark's comments re possible disease.
