correction 31a !
I took drinks to be Pils, slip.
Of course Nips are also drinks, take your pick.
It is SLIP, reversing that is PILS, which is a drink similar to Pilsner.
Although Pils I think is singular.
so I think I'll go for Nips, or will I?
Yes, PIls is singular - which rules that out. Plus I do not think I have ever seen Pils given as part of the solution to a Telegraph clue. Spin for me.
Question Author
think I favour nips
Try checking the definition for both in Chambers, fall appears in slip, but not snip.
Where do you get the Fall from? The clue is trip.
