I recently finished uni however, i didnt do very well, and have to resist 2 modules next year, part time. I want to go onto complete a PGCE, starting in September 2009 as I have a real passion for teaching...just wish i had realised it when I was doin my work! At the moment i am helping out in local schools, and I love it! I have been applying for teaching assisstant jobs so i can gain expereince over the next year, which hopefully should help with the PGCE application. However was just wondering if anyone else had any advise or has been in the same kind of situation! any help would be appreciated! Thanks

WHy not cut your losses with the PGCE and spend some time as a primary school teaching assistant, which will give you experience and income, then you can go back to the qualifications when you've taken stock.
PS advise is the verb, advice is the noun. I advise you; this is my advice.
This is the kinda thing you'll need to know in your chosen profession.
