Does anyone know where I can find out where to find bookeeping courses that you actually attend a class for? It would need to be a part time one that I could fit in around work but all I can find are online courses which I don't think would suit me too well.

contact www.pitman-training.com as with their courses you go to a centre and work on your own but with full support and guidance. i am currently doing a legal secretary course and finding the people who run my centre (chester) really supportive and friendly, which is a great environment to work in. good luck!
Have you tried the adult and part-time learning departments of any of your local colleges? I work in adult further education and there are several colleges near me which offer bookkeeping and accounting courses. Also LearnDirect have a website which may show local courses. If you don't have a college or evening class provider nearby ask if your local library has any details.
I agree with bensmum, I work in a College and we offer P/T Bookkeeping courses in the evenings.

Thanks everyone. I will contact the college on Monay (which is Aylesbury should anyone have any answers about that) and also have a look on the website mentioned. Thanks again for your help!
