Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

While this one is currently topical, perhaps Kayakamina & others who have done it could enlighten me on 12D (?O?HE?) without spoiling it for the rest. I've looked at all the other titles involved and am missing a connection. many tks and rgds.

I'm in the same position I've finished the rest but am stuck on this one.

- It looks like MOTHER to me - which is in 1d25d - but not a track of it's own.

Let's hope there's some big guns about to enlighten us.

That makes sense - there's definitely no song which fits the clue.

If there is a clue omitted by mistake for 12d the Chambers has 43 words that would fit in the grid there.

I have spoken to Tom Johnson (Doc) who tells me that both he
and his checker hold up their hands and apologise for the
foul-up.

12d Should have read 'Junior Employee suggesting wood (6)

So GOPHER seems to be what is required for the grid.
