Last couple of 'normal' clues have me stumped:

5dn Liquid secreted in lazar-house(7) SP?TT??(Spittle? Why?)
31dn My camp's up in field(5) RE?L?(Realm? Again, why?)

Neither answer will help with the unclued lights which I can't make sense of either. I'd prefer a clue to what the connection is before resorting to total submission.

31d Have pencilled in realm, but not sure about this one.

The name of the crossword suggests an anagram of the(five-lettered) clued light you are looking for .

Also consider the likely length of the anagrammed word in order that it produces so many (at least 10), and the sort of letters it contains, ie the common ones.

Thank you all for your helpful replies - but not quite helpful enough for this dimwit on his return from a hard day at the office.

Four of the unclued lights have(?!) to be diviner, after, symbol and analyse but I'm blowed if I can make the connection. Another little clue before I admit defeat and ask outright!
