It's a bl00dy disgrace, especially when viewed in the same light as this one:

It does make you think that there are probably a lot more individuals worthy of removal than this unfortunate young lady.
However, it has to be borne in mind that there are large numbers of people who have been resident here all their lives, many of whom may have paid fortunes in tax and NI, but who have health care either denied or severely delayed because of lack of resources.
Also to be borne in mind is that Ms Sumani first came as a visitor, then decided she wanted to be a student (despite being unable to speak English at all well) but never actually studied. Only when she returned from a trip to Ghana (to bury her husband who had clearly been very dear to her heart) was her �student� status challenged and removal proceeding begun.
Hers is clearly a very unfortunate case, but we have limited resources in the UK and we cannot take on the sick from the rest of the world, especially when they reside here under dubious circumstances.
