Ok, just for those who think I may not stress about silly things in pregnancy, I thought Id share.

so Im 22 and a bit weeks now, baby is kicking like a pro footballer and i can now feel the kicks under my hand.

Last night i was lying in bed and the kicks were really low. So low in fact that they were in front of my pubic bone so that sent me into a silly panic lol

i worried that baby had somehow got his / her foot stuck down there and couldnt get it out! pmsl, i was trying to work out how itd managed it and what i was going to have to do to free it! Took me 30 mins before kicks moved and i calmed down again.

Sensible head is back on again today thougn xx

Funnily enough I got a kick or two last night over on the very far left hand side of my tummy, well it was my side really (you know that place were your waist used to be). Coundn't for the life of me figure how she had managed to get whatever it was over there. Then for one fleeting moment thought 'she has escaped!!!!!' It does make you wonder what they are up to in there and what is going on in our heads.

we are all mad I tell ya! Mad!!!!!!!

lol, bless her, she must be getting herself quite comfy inside you now.

ps, i vaguely recall having a waste about 4 years ago, im sure i know where you mean lol
Ha ha, I use the term waist very loosely indeed.

A few years ago I asked my best friend what did you call that bit were your waist used to be, you know, below your boobs and above your tummy and she replied ' your middle', we laughed for hours over that one. RIP waist.
Question Author
middle sounds good. Im not sure whether my backside has crept upwards or my stomach downwards lol
I'll ask my friend, bet she has a name for that too.
Morning ladies - they must have all had it in for us last night!I have been feeling it moving and kicking around for a few weeks now, but last night hubby happened to have his hand on my tum and baby let out this almighty kick that frightened the life out of him! LOL

He just kep saying "That wasn't the baby? Was that the baby? It couldn't have been? Was it really?". PMSL
Question Author
pmsl natalie,

get a pic of your hubbys face the day baby does an alien movement. Towards the end of the 40 weeks they have so little room that your whole tum shifts to one side and occasionally is baby shaped.
I get a cone shape on the right hand side when baby sticks its bum out! lol

I couldnt post this morning and was frustrated and not being able to join as this thread was making me laugh. I also get kciked "down there" but the first time it happened to me, my first thought was , what if it breaks my waters?! lol

So what was it with these babies last night? Mine was extremely active too which is s0ds law because when I had my scan the night before, the little buggr didnt want to know!
Question Author
mine was camera shy too psychick, they are little wotsits at times.

Oh can you remember that feeling of being kicked or punched in cervix. I spent all saturday evening jumping because of bubs doing that
Morning all hope you're all well, you are making me chuckle. It's funny what goes through your mind when something strange happens inside there isn't it. Red, I still occasionally feel him moving and kicking down by my pubic bone, but only when I am in bed lying on my side. For a while I actually thought he was trying to burrow his way out and then half expected to end up with a foot sticking out of my you know what, in the morning!
I'm sure I feel him move around more now than I do him kick. When do you actually know whether it's a hand, foot or bum moving?
Question Author
Bet we all have nightmares tonight pmsl! arms and legs poking out of every orifice lol

I was told that bums feel harder and bonier than heads. Something which i didnt quite understand why until i felt babys head as it crowned in labour. (note to others, dont do unless you have a strong stomach).

Once baby is head down its a little easier to decide which is which but its not that easy when they are still somersaulting

Itd be easier if they looked like this http://www.hoax-slayer.com/images/footprint.jp g

Lol. Does that actually happen?
Question Author
What? kicks looking like the pic? can you imagine if it did? what if they chose to shove their face out?

thatd be a great contraceptive if they did
Gonna show that to my hubby tonight - he's going to freak! LOL

My friend told me when she was pregnant she got scared cos it felt like her little one was jumping up and down on the cervix trying to make a bid for freedom! :-D
Question Author
little CRX did it for the last 6 weeks! Its an awful feeling, its like knocking your funny bone (ie, makes you jump and is far from funny) and you cant keep a straight face and ignore it.
Does anyone else get the feeling of their own bum being kicked, but from the inside? lol And Im sure I have felt it "run" across my tummy!

When I was induced to have my daughter, they ended doing a scan to make sure she wasnt breach. They could feel something hard there but couldnt tell if it was head or bum! I had 4 different people have a feel before they finally decided to check with a scan!
LOL, an @ss kicking from the inside, brilliant!

I was convinced a couple of weeks ago that she was doing star jumps, was getting pokes and prods in all four corners simultaneously.
Question Author
LOL psychick, is that when the kick is so sharp and sudden you have to stand up?

aww, star jumps, bet that was comfy warpig lol
I know what you mean with the kicks in the ass!! Can make you jump at times!!

I had a feeling Wednesday night that I had two feet one on each side pushing down from under my ribs. I got checked yesturday, the babs head has engaged. He was actually pushing himself down into my pelvis!! Really weird sensation!!

I had a scan yesterday, Im 36+2 and baby weighs in at a whopping 7pounds 8ouces already!!
Anyone fancy a swap??
Question Author
