Can anyone tell me why 21 down is CORNET? (if of course I'm right?)

Clue: Brass instrument for officer.

Obviously it's a brass instrument and CO can do the business for the 'officer' bit of the clue but other than that, am I missing something?

That'll be young Harry then!!!!
actually it is a Second Lieutenant in a Regiment of Heavy Dragoons ... which of course, the Royal Life Guards and the Blues and Royals are.
