Memories of Laser 558 (radio station) in the 80s
A group of us were reminiscing the other night about the 80s and the subject of the (pirate?) radio station Laser 558 came up in conversation.
That got me thinking and I can remember it was very annoying that they would play (say) two songs back-to-back and only tell you what the 2nd one was! That then reminded me of a song that I liked at the time (and that I never found out the name/artist) which had the lyrics, "Finlandia the land of ice and snow. Finlandia, Finlandia my home" - as it was 20-odd years ago, tthe lines may have been the other way round! :o)
Does anyone know what that song was or who it was by, please?
