I have a phone id like to sell but need to unlock, is it legal and how is it done?

just search on ebay for an unlock code for your type of phone and it will cost 99p typically, yes its perfectly legal

use the above software and it's free. I have used it for a couple of years and it's unlocked all my nokia's and a couple of others. Good luck. Follow the instructions to the 'T' or you could 'brick it' ;)
