Stuck again on last 2 so more help appreciated please ..... 15a - Timeless article about pastry (6); ..... and .... 12d - It's icy - I'd go under raised stage (5) ... and please can you explain the answer? Many Thanks

15a. eclair (remove the t from article and anagram)

Hi shammydodger .... many thanks for that ... sometimes one just can't "see" the answer .. I had "eclair" as a possible but could not see why. That now gives me G?L?I as 12d .... any thoughts please?????
Gelid. A word meaning icy or extremely cold. i.e. gel = leg reversed or raised. Tag on id.

More Thanks .... never heard "gelid" nor stage = leg ... but we learn everyday .... I was never going to get it cos the "I" was wrong - which I have now fixed .. so I am all done ... off to but today's paper now ... Thanks again
