Can anyone remember an 80's drama set in a clothing factory or mill in Lancashire / Yorkshire?

Seem to recall that "Holding Out For A Hero" may have been used as the theme tune, but not certain on that!

The Woman of Substance series was set in a wool mill (I think) timing would probably be about right too. Can't remember that being the theme tune, but you say you're not too sure on that point. Try this link http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0085114/
making out, with margi clarke?
According to google Holding out for a hero was the theme tune for a US 80's show called Cover Up
Was it 'Clocking Off'?
You not thinking of Connie are you? It was certainly set in a Northern textile town and was from the mid-80s. It was a cracking series too, a sort of British equivalent of Dallas but with better acting and more plausible characters. Can't remember HOFAH though.

Is it Cover Up?? I was only 3 in 1984, but according to my database at work...Holding out for a hero was played regularly in this show in the early 80s.

Oh ignore my last answer, having googled it....it definitely doesn't sound like a factory set programme!
Well, there have been five suggestions - are any of them right, mt2608? I'm intrigued now.
it was called 'making out' with margi clarke and her husband was the guy from the 'fhe flying pickets'. he was called 'chunky'
