I had 'g' in as the last letter. The clue for 6d  is shimmer(6) I put in gleams if correct the second word would end in 'ing' also.

I agree 6d would be better with gleam.i got my "m" from 11a. Fit of pique(7) I put in tantrum which fitted in to give me gleams.

Thinking about 1a again just wondering if c?t?o?? Would be better for the first word.

The clue for 3d is be with it , know what's what(2,3,4) On the ball I have in now.
