Just the one :- 24Dn Fish caught under Thames finally? (4) S?A? I suspect it is SHAD(fish), as in S (Thames finally) with HAD (caught in the sense of "you were had", ie conned or caught out) beneath it, but I'd be grateful for reassurance, given there are three other possibilities (SCAD, SCAR, SCAT) - although I can't parse any of those.

I put 'Shad' for the reasons you've given.
Could be HAD in the sense of “had a cold or flu etc” meaning “caught a cold or flu etc”.
