We work in an office and there are 7 of us (we're secretaries). One secretary in particular is one for the blokes and she'll tease us when a guy walks into the room - just stuff like, "Is he your type?" or, "I can see you with him" or, "Are you getting divorced now?" if one of the managers comes in and he's quiet with one of us, that sort of thing. However, yesterday, I teased her back and pronounced her name incorrectly, as I copied the way a guy pronounced her name back to her (to get my own back when she teases me and mispronounces my name at times). She told me that she didn't like it and to never copy the way her name was pronounced ever again. Thing is, she's no longer speaking to me and when she teases me I just laugh it off. So really she can't take it when it comes back to her. Shall I just leave her to stew?

This is office life. You don't need a war of attrition with someone you spend more time with than your family. Be polite and professional, don't get into a battle, it always ends in tears.

Be polite and professional, don't get into a battle, it always ends in tears.
as andy says polite and professional, and ignore them.
You seem to have problems getting along with your colleagues. Try being polite, don't take offense at perceived slights and don't get involved.
Andy is right. Be the more mature one. Keep a positive attitude and don't respond to the negative.
