Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Another superlative puzzle. We are being treated at the moment.

Some of the 13 word removal clues were very tough, however, all were perfectly fair.

I wouldn't have stood much of a chance of finishing this without the Internet.

Agreed: a very elegant puzzle. If my daughter and I weren't both struggling with Covid we might have got there rather quicker but, with the benefit of Lemsip and some knowledge of the theme, we struggled over the line this morning.

Yes - this was another cracker - very hard gridfill and some reverse engineering needed to solve a few of the word removal clues.

Loved solving the clues, and eventually identifying the theme, so that I was able to fill the grid.

Must have gone wrong with the misprints though, not getting any clear instruction for the final step.

So it's another near-miss to add to my collection.

Look forward to seeing the solution in due course.

Dim16, Having got so far, you should review the misprints. the instruction for the final step is very specific.

I agree it was a very tough challenge, but it had enough rewards to make the effort worthwhile. Excellent grid for the theme, with some elegant features.

Appear to be in a minority here. Thought this was a tough challenge and enjoyed teasing it out but thought the final grid was a bit of a jamboree. Maybe I have missed some layers of thematic significance

I too wasn't overenamoured with this one. I tackled it on a week's walking holiday sans Chambers and internet, and although I found most of the hidden words and had an inkling, it took an online search to reveal the theme. I just found it a bit two-dimensional as a puzzle. I admire the setter's art in including the thematic words, and the clues read well, but I didn't feel it expanded on the theme as much as it could have.
