Average Tape Dispenser

Am having difficulty in getting one of these and when you look online you don't know what size you are getting.

Would this do - for average taping - thanks

I haven't got a clue as to what 'average taping' means!

However that tape dispenser will take standard rolls of Sellotape (or similar) and is the type of thing that you'd find in an office.

If you lived in mainland UK, I'd suggest simply nipping down to your nearest branch of Ryman but they don't seem to operate in NI. Places selling what (I think) you're looking for in your area though include Proctor's (201 - 213 Castlereagh Road) and W H Smith (10 Glengall St).

thanks Chris - we do sometimes have around Christmas the tiniest dispenser ever - and so I thought perhaps this was one of them.

I don't go into town now with the dodgy knee so will go ahead and order two as sister likes them too and can't get one either. thanks

PS - it is just for the size of standard rolls of Sellotape. ta ta

The one in your original link is exactly the same as I have on my office desk. Just note they are quite big, at least 8 inches long and weigh about 3 pounds in other words heavy duty.

I think the one you are looking for would be for a 24mm x 66m roll, but you may find the wheel bit separates and lets you do a shorter roll

As Prudie says, those big ones are heavy so make sure it doesn't get dropped on your foot.

this dispenser Jno - will only be in a drawer - just coming out to wrap a present or two or at Christmas. Even then Christmas will be just be money presents. Mind you I hate that word C

unlucky or what - tape dispenser came just now via post - guess what - no inside to put the sellotape in and also I'm disappointed at the weight - mine from work was far heavier. so another nuisance posting it back.

Also I had ordered SOUP spoons of which I don't have many - they sent me DESSERT spoons - another nuisance.
