Tragedy visits even those living the dream.
At least he got to go into Space. He clearly loved flying.
better that than the other way round, it's no good having a bucket list and then leaving them till you're dead. As ymb says, he did what he loved.
Same as Yuri Gagarin.
He orbited the earth in 1961 then was killed in a plane crash in 1968.
I saw him when he visited Manchester, he looked very handsome in his uniform.
That's very sad news - RIP.
