Magnolia is the best but it's very unpopular with bright young things so it does come in 50 near indistinguishable shades with names like natural calico and delicate seashell :-)

Speaking as a decorator, whoever invented woodchip wants shooting. That and 'Artex' = decorator's nightmare.

Shades of yellow are apparently the most popular for people with depression, so if you need a lift, go with a yellowish one. Magnolia is a bit old-fashioned now, but as prudie says- they just change the name!

My Husband was a perfectionist when doing the job he loved most - Car Body Resprays, full or part.

The best way to reduce him to a gibbering wreck was for someone to request a quick repair using whatever paint he had hanging around of a similar colour - ie Black.

They never believed him when he told them how many shades of black car body paint there were.

My grandmother comes from a town not too far from Mamya.
She told me she was having her whole house re-painted.

"What colour?"

" Eeeeee............... Mongolia, all Mongolia."

Can't seem to get it out of my head now. I still ask for Mongolia. Decorators look at me in pity ;o(((
