Turned up, to find it had been postponed (3,3) P?T ??F The obvious answer is PUT OFF = postponed but I can't see where the FF comes from. Turned Up = PU, to = TO, find it??

ff in music is very loud ie. turned up
FF, very loud? Up?
FF (very loud) does not fit with the whole clue. Likely that the parse includes up(reversed) + to
Good morning, Danny. I only replied to the missing part of the OP's answer.
Another possibility is that the clue has to be read in its entireity i.e
' put to ff' but if so it is a very poor clue.
Good morning Donny. What is your take on the parse?
I think the parse is as given by the OP plus the explanation I gave for the "ff" but is it not poor to use the same phrase ie. turned up to indicate different parts of the answer ? I must leave now but will thank you for any guidance later.
