Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Not a start as such but I found URITES to be the key transitional word.

Farrwest, if you've got 1 A and the help from ProfessorMaisie, it's not too tricky to work out what comes in between. After PM's word, the next one is fairly simple. There will be some crossing letters, in the unclued answers - those are a big help.

Farrwest ... the ladder changes 1a > 18a > 1d ...and finish 10d > 31d > 45a

If you want the others in between ....ask again

My starting changes differ from roslyn's. I have 1ac - 1dn - 18ac (the final three are the ok).

Same as mine roslyn. I think that means the penultimate letter 'R' of 4dn wouldn't permit UNITES for that entry. So it would have to be be URITES at 18ac unless you've got something else for 4dn?
